Derby Mosque and Islamic Centre

derby Mosque

Derby is a regional town in Western Australia's Kimberley region. Unfortunately, there is no mosque or masjid in Derby or the entire 423,517 square kilometre Kimberly region. Since 1960, a substantial number of native Muslims have resided here. In the absence of a place of worship, Muslims begin to degenerate, become religiously indifferent, and even convert to other faiths. However, although the descendants have Muslim names, they do not practise Islam. A place of worship is absolutely essential for their revival. Therefore, we humbly request that you make a significant contribution according to your means and join us in supporting this noble cause. https://dmic.org.au/donation/
"Whoever builds a masjid for the sake of Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise."
- Prophet Mohammad (PBUH)
