Derby Mosque and Islamic Centre

derby Mosque

Derby is a regional town in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. Regrettably, there is no mosque/masjid in Derby or even in the Kimberly, which covers an area of 423,517 square kilometres. Since 1960, a sizable number of indigenous Muslims have lived here. As a result of the lack of a place of worship, Muslims begin to degenerate, become religionless, or even convert to other religions. However, the descendants bear Muslim names but do not adhere to Islam. A place of worship is absolutely essential to their revival. Therefore, we humbly request that you make a donation in accordance with your ability and join us in this noble cause.
“Whoever builds a masjid for the sake of Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.”
– Prophet Mohammad (PBUH)
